Scroll on for details on how booking works and what working together looks like. You’ll also see images from different parts of the day, from the ceremony through to drinks, speeches and the party, giving you a feel for how I approach each moment.
Send through an enquiry to check my availability. I like to meet everyone I work with, so we’ll arrange a relaxed video call to talk through your plans and get to know each other. It’s a chance for you to feel confident I’m the right fit, and for me to make sure my approach aligns with what you’re looking for.
I'll send through your quote and a 20% deposit confirms your booking. The balance is due 6 weeks before your wedding day.
I'll usually set up a WhatsApp group so that we can keep in touch easily. I'm here if you need advice, recommendations or want to share inspo.
I'll send a Wedding Day Questionnaire a month before your wedding and that captures all the information I need to plan my whereabouts for the day. We'll meet on a video call to go through the details together.
When the day arrives, I’ll be there while you’re getting ready. If you’ve chosen to have a second photographer, they’ll be with your partner so both sides of the morning are covered.
From there, I’ll move quietly through the day, observing, people-watching and capturing moments as they unfold. If the light is right, I might gently suggest stepping away for a few portraits, whether that’s chasing golden hour, night shots with flash, or taking advantage of an unplanned fun shoot if it feels right for you.
I send fully edited previews!,
Usually the day ofter your wedding. I want you to have a selection of images from the day to share with friends and family + I don't think you should have to wait for that.
Your full gallery is delivered within 6-10 weeks, depending on the season.
I use an online gallery provider, which allows you to view, download, share and purchase prints from one link. I can password protect this if required.
The time before the ceremony is often quieter, more intimate, and full of small, meaningful moments. It’s where nerves show up and the day begins to feel real so it's one of my favourite parts of the day. I'm looking for the atmosphere, being creative with your outfit and accessories, and the little interactions between you and your party.
If you choose to add a second photographer, these moments can be captured from different places at the same time, giving space to document both sides of the morning as they unfold. It allows the story to start gently and fully, without rushing or missing anything.
The ceremony is where the atmosphere shifts. it's arguably the 'main event' of the day. Whether it's a celebrant ceremony, registrar led or at a church I photograph it from close enough to notice the small things, hands held a little tighter, tears that catch people off guard, quiet reactions from parents and grandparents, while also capturing the wider scene.
Freshly wed, you join your guests to celebrate. I won't expect anything from you at this point - I want you to relax and enjoy the moment. This is when the hugs happen, conversations overlap, glasses clink, and people settle into the day. I work through the crowd, moving from group to group, photographing interactions as they happen. I'm looking for the usual stuff like laughter, cheers and hugs but mostly I'm complimenting and capturing your guests' outfits, jumping in to grab group photos and waiting patiently for a sneaky shot of someone admiring your wedding rings.
Any family group photos can be discussed before the day and I'll do these right at the end of the drinks reception to allow you to enjoy it fully.
I'd actually go as far as to say that speeches are my favourite part of the day. I'm so invested in my couples and I love to hear their favourite people tell their story. Speeches are always full of contrast, laughter, nerves, pauses, and reactions that say just as much as the words themselves.. I focus on both the speaker and the room, capturing expressions, exchanges and the shared energy that makes this part of the day so memorable.
If you're having a first dance, I want you to look back at those photos and remember how it felt to have that moment. I'll stand back alongside your guests to create something atmospheric and beautiful. As soon as your guests join in, it's chaos! I'm right in there on the dance floor, using a mix of flash and ambient light to freeze that energy in the frame. My edit for the party is slightly more nostalgic with a nod to those lush 90s rave scene shots.
